What gets measured, gets improved.
Book a digital strategy session with us. We’ll deep dive into your organisation and present you with a 12-month plan to improve your marketing online.
Because when your strategy is right, everything else gets much easier.
Effective digital communication doesn’t happen by chance. For charities and public sector organisations, it requires clarity, structure, and a strategy built around real outcomes; whether that’s increasing awareness, driving donations, or improving access to services.
We help you move away from “random acts of marketing” and towards a clear, joined-up approach that delivers measurable impact.
Most charities and non-profits are always creating content: social posts, emails, campaigns. They stay busy, but their efforts often aren’t joined up. If you step back and look honestly, it’s tough to say what any of it is really achieving.
That’s a strategy problem
Many organisations feel pressure to constantly produce content; social posts, campaigns, emails, without a clear plan behind them. The result is often inconsistent messaging and missed opportunities to connect.
Tactics are important, but without a clear strategy guiding when, where, and why they’re used, they rarely deliver meaningful results.
We start with strategy, so every action has purpose and contributes to your wider mission.
Without a clear plan behind the activity, even the best content gets lost.
Messaging becomes inconsistent, and opportunities get missed. The gap between the work you’re doing and the impact you’re making online stays stubbornly wide.
TASK works with charities and public sector organisations to fix the foundations first. We begin with strategy, so that every piece of content, every campaign and every channel decision has a clear purpose behind it. No random acts of marketing!
Our approach centres on Lighthouse, TASK’s purpose-driven strategic framework. With Lighthouse , we help you pinpoint your audience, define how your organisation creates value for them, and understand your place in the bigger picture. From this, we build a messaging framework your whole team can use, a growth strategy bringing consistency, confidence, and direction to all your communications.
What You Walk Away With
Every strategy workshop is different because every organisation is different. But you’ll always leave with a clear, actionable plan, not a vague set of recommendations.
A 12-month digital marketing roadmap tailored to your organisation, budget and capacity.
Audience profiles built from real data and research, not assumptions.
Channel recommendations based on where your audiences actually are, not where you think they should be.
Content themes and a publishing framework your team can follow without needing to reinvent the wheel each month.
KPI definitions and measurement approaches so you can track what’s working and adjust as you go.
A prioritised action list, so you know exactly what to do first.
The plan is yours to keep and use however you choose. Some clients implement it themselves. Others ask us to help deliver it. Either way, you’ll have the clarity you need to move forward with confidence.
How the Workshop Runs
Our workshops are typically half-day or full-day sessions, depending on the complexity of your organisation and the number of stakeholders involved. They can run in person or remotely, whichever works best for your team.
Before the session, we carry out background research: reviewing your current digital presence, analysing competitor activity and pulling together relevant sector data. We come prepared, so the workshop time is spent on strategy, not scene-setting.
During the session, we work through a structured framework covering your audiences, your messaging, your channels and your measurement approach. It’s collaborative and practical. There’s no death by PowerPoint.
After the workshop, we write up the full strategy document and present it back to your team within two weeks. We include an implementation timeline and are available to answer questions as you begin putting the plan into action.
Our workshops usually take about six hours, with an additional hour reserved as a buffer. This gives us flexibility for deeper discussion or extra focus where needed, while keeping the session efficient and respectful of your time. We ask that all key stakeholders be present for the workshop.
After the workshop, you’ll receive a 12-month plan for your marketing with execution plans. You can either engage us to roll it out or do it yourself.
The workshop is £960 +VAT and delivered online via video call or in person if within 50 miles of Northampton.
We will get in touch to arrange a date and time for the workshop.
